ShipOrShame is unofficial. It is not affiliated with Cursor, Anthropic, OpenAI, or any other tool vendor.

The desktop agent reads only known local log and database paths for supported AI coding tools. It never walks your whole home directory.

We upload aggregates only: tool name, session start and end, duration, event counts, and an optional hashed project id if you enable it. We do not upload prompts, completions, file contents, diffs, secrets, API keys, or raw transcripts.

Accounts exist from day one so streaks and stats are tied to you, not a laptop. You can log out and revoke devices from settings.

Public profiles and the leaderboard are opt-in. Share cards and README badges only exist for opted-in handles.

Marketing analytics use DataFast. Product analytics use PostHog with opaque user ids, not email.
